FTC Vendor Booking Terms

1. Booking Acceptance

• Vendors are not obligated to accept booking requests originating from the Booking platform foodtruckcentre.com.au
• Once a quote from the Vendor to the Organiser is accepted by the Organiser, a booking becomes a binding agreement between Vendor and Organiser

 

2. Service Delivery

Vendors must:

• Arrive on time and fully prepared
• Deliver services as described in their listing and agreed terms
• Comply with all food safety and operational requirements

 

3. Pricing and Transparency

• Vendors must provide clear and accurate pricing
• Any additional fees must be disclosed upfront
• Hidden charges are not permitted

 

4. Deposits and Payments

• Vendors may require a deposit to secure bookings
• Final payment terms must be clearly stated
• Vendors are responsible for collecting payments unless otherwise arranged

 

5. Cancellations

• Vendors must clearly state cancellation policies
• Any cancellation fees must be reasonable and disclosed in advance

 

6. Insurance and Compliance

Vendors must maintain:

• Public liability insurance (recommended minimum $20 million)
• All required licences and permits

Proof may be requested by FTC at any time.

 

7. Conduct and Reputation

Vendors must:

• Act professionally at all times
• Avoid behaviour that may damage FTC’s reputation
• Refrain from misleading or deceptive conduct

 

8. Platform Fees

• Vendors agree to pay all applicable FTC commissions which currently (from April 2026 on until changed at the discretion of FTC and advised to the Vendor beforehand) is 10% of the successful gross booking fee collected by the Vendor.
• Attempts to avoid fees (including off-platform dealings) are strictly prohibited

 

9. Disputes

• Vendors must attempt to resolve disputes directly with Organisers
• FTC may assist but is not responsible for outcomes

 

10. Termination

FTC may suspend or remove Vendors who:

• Breach these terms
• Fail to meet service standards
• Attempt to bypass the Platform
